This is the luxurious bedroom with the 8-foot bed in which the body of Mexican-born actress Lupe Velez was found a few hours after she had  committed suicide. A note left by her indicated that she blamed her action on a broken love affair 12-15-1944

Thelma Todd had an even bigger bed, according to publicity. The man shown in this cartoon with her is Pat DiCicco, who was married to her at the time.
