Here is a publicity photo that I believe was taken in 1935. The spotlight on the right says "Hal Roach Studio" on it. You can also see "MGM" on the lower right hand corner. Hal Roach was releasing through MGM at the time, so their publicity pictures all had "MGM" on them.
