I was able to find the Harry Langdon puzzle for sale on ebay, along with the box and two other puzzles it came with. The seller had a pretty good description, so I included that, too.
The seller's description:
MOVIE-LAND CUT UPS" PHOTO PUZZLES SET - (c) 1930 Wilder Mfg. Co. 10-1/2" x 8-1/2" x 1-1/4" colorful graphic box with bright "Hollywood" cartoon imagery. Original set of 3 full color jigsaws (each 10-1/8" x 7-3/4", color litho on die-cut cardboard) - "Our Gang" (MGM-Hal Roach), "Harry Langdon" (MGM-Hal Roach), and "Only The Brave" (Paramount, a Gary Cooper western. This is a wagon train landscape vista scene and Cooper does not appear in puzzle).
The artwork on the box shows a mixture of more or less generic characters and some recognizable caricatures of period movie stars such as Clara Bow, Harold Lloyd, and Charlie Chaplin ( left ).
Harry Langdon in a fantasy scene set in the far north.
I don't think this is a scene from any of his films.
Our Gang in a scene set in ancient Rome.
This looks like a scene from one of their films.
A covered wagon from ONLY THE BRAVE.
