I believe Patsy Kelly's costume in this movie was intended to look like something from old Hollywood. Long necklaces were much in vogue in the 1920's.

 Deborah Walley had more or less taken the place of Annette Funincello in the series. The gorilla was played by George Barrows, who played a gorilla in many movies, including GORILLA AT LARGE and ROBOT MONSTER.

 Although Basil Rathbone was famous for playing Sherlock Holmes, he had also frequently played a villain in the movies.

Bobbi Shaw had appeared in several Beach Party movies with Buster Keaton, and he was slated to be in this one, too, but he died before production began. Because of this, Bobbi Shaw made one less film with Buster Keaton then Dorothy Appleby, who would be the actress that worked with him most often.

THE GHOST IN THE INVISIBLE BIKINI had Patsy Kelly in it, as well as Boris Karloff, Basil Rathbone, Jesse White, Quinn O'Hara, Deborah Walley, Bobbi Shaw, and Harvey Lemback. It was the last of the "Beach Party" movies and had many of the same cast members as the previous films in the series. She's also my friend on facebook, so I was able to ask her about her experiences on this movie.

Quinn O'Hara was one of the stars of the movie THE GHOST IN THE INVISIBLE BIKINI, which
 also starred Boris Karloff, Basil Rathbone, Francis X Bushman, and the Beach Party movie regulars Harvey Lemback, Deborah Walley,  and Bobbi Shaw.  Also amoung the cast was Patsy Kelly.

Says Quinn O'Hara, "Patsy was an excellent actor . I am very fortunate that I had the chance to work with her. She had a great personality too."

Concerning the others in the cast, Quinn O'Hara said, "We had a great cast Frances X Bushman was the original Ben Hur. Boris Karloff - Original in anything he did. But most famously known Frankenstein's Monster and The Mummy. Also Basil Rathbone.. The original Sherlock Holmes and Sherriff of Nottingham in the original Robin Hood. and of course a few original monsters . We had a lot of originals."
