Hal Roach Publicity

Still more publicity for the Hal Roach Studio.

A 1932 flyer advertising Roach's short subjects.

Laurel and Hardy had moved into features as Harold Lloyd had done before them at the same studio.

SHOW BUSINESS was released in 1932. Marie Dressler and Polly Moran were teamed in feature films, so the comparison was obvious at the time.

This ad from an earlier period shows Laurel and Hardy before they were even considered a team, as well as Lupe Velez from early in her career. Our Gang and Charley Chase were Roach's top stars at that time.

And here is another ad for the Zasu Pitts and Thelma Todd series.
