Cover Girl Thelma Todd
Thelma Todd wasn't the cover girl on very many US magazine covers, but there was also the foreign market. Hal Roach's comedies were popular in England, which was why there were English tours by Laurel and Hardy in 1932 and Thelma Todd in 1933. American movie stars and magazines about them were very popular in Latin America, and Thelma Todd would appear on a number of magazines in that area.
