DC's 1972 Laurel And Hardy Comic Book

DC comics published one issue of a Laurel and Hardy comic book, which was based on Larry Harmon's made for television cartoons. Actually it was mostly reprints from the UK version, but with a new cover and one new story by John Albano, Mike Sekowsky, and Henry Scarpelli.

DC Comics had planned to make this an ongoing series, but it was canceled after only one issue. However, a cover exists for the unpublished second issue.

 

This may have been the only time that Laurel and Hardy met Superman.
