Press sheets such as this were given out to promote short subjects as well as features. These included a synopsis of the film, pictures of posters, and publicity items that could be put in the local paper to promote the film. Here is an article that recounts how Thelma Todd was a schoolteacher, a tale told often, though her teaching days were brief. Another item informs us that Patsy Kelly has completed a year in Roach's employ. And there is an item which tells us that Thelma Todd and Patsy Kelly played so many pranks on director Gus Meins that he played one on them to get even and stop them from playing more. They probably made that one up. A lot of this stuff was made up for publicity.
