Helen Mann was a thirties blonde. What I always remember about her was the contest to get her a new name.

She went right on being Helen Mann as far as I know.

 

 

 

This wasn't too long after Thelma Todd tried being "Alison Loyd". The one that I remember being really successful under a different name was Jacqueline Wells, who changed her name to "Julie Bishop".
