A fictional character named "Tony Moreno" appears in THE SPOT OF LIFE, which was originally published in 1932. "Tony" is a slightly different form of "Antonio", but although the story was written while he was still famous and working in the movies, it wasn't stated that it was the famous Antonio Moreno. This Moreno was a man of little importance who saw someone else so impressive that he thought he was like a movie star, a sentiment that was shortly echoed by another. The impressive one was the Bar Senestro, who was supposed to have come through the Blind Spot from another world.
Actually this story was supposed to be a sequel to the earlier story THE BLIND SPOT, but though that story too had a Bar Senestro one story did not really follow the other.
