"Stars Put On A Show For The Olympics" - MOVIE CLASSIC, 1932






Buster Keaton is mentioned in this article as having been made to put on an act where he was supposedly shooting scenes for SPEAK EASILY after that film had been completed. Buster Keaton was not happy at MGM, regardless of the validity of this claim.


 
 
 

 
 
Weight-loss ad at left refers to taking of thyroid hormone for weight loss. The practice had bad side effects and was not well thought of by this time.
