Comic strip mentioned in MAIDS A LA MODE, where Thelma Todd remarks to Zasu Pitts, "Always
Belittlin'!" This seems to have been a popular saying at the time which came from the Percy Crosby comic strip of that name, which was about a kid who was always belittlin' everything. The comic strip ran with
Crosby's SKIPPY on the Sunday page and there was also a daily strip.
