I believe Patsy Kelly's costume in this movie was intended to look like something from old Hollywood. Long necklaces were much in vogue in the 1920's.

 Deborah Walley had more or less taken the place of Annette Funincello in the series. The gorilla was played by George Barrows, who played a gorilla in many movies, including GORILLA AT LARGE and ROBOT MONSTER.

 Although Basil Rathbone was famous for playing Sherlock Holmes, he had also frequently played a villain in the movies.

Bobbi Shaw had appeared in several Beach Party movies with Buster Keaton, and he was slated to be in this one, too, but he died before production began. Because of this, Bobbi Shaw made one less film with Buster Keaton then Dorothy Appleby, who would be the actress that worked with him most often.
