Thelma's building was designed as a sale office for the Castellammare Development to the north. The Frank Meline designed structure would soon be owned by Thelma and Roland and support the café and La Joya. It was used for various purposes before Thelma and Roland took over!
The Sidewalk Café building as it originally looked. Several different business occupied the building at that time. A drug store was located on the left.
